  5. LANtastic 2Mbps and 2Mbps MC adapters are the perfect way to
  6. economically network small or medium-sized businesses with IBM PC or
  7. Micro Channel compatible computers.

  9. Both Micro Channel Architecture and Industry Standard Architecture (ISA)
  10. adapters include a 10Mhz coprocessor, and 32K of on-board dual-ported
  11. RAM. Each 2Mbps adapter also includes software-selectable IRQ and
  12. RAMBASE address settings.

  14. Artisoft's implementation of the NetBIOS standard is loaded into and
  15. executed within the adapter. This plunges the NetBIOS draw on a PC's
  16. base RAM down to just 2K and off-loads network processing onto the
  17. adapter. The cards are easy to install and use inexpensive dual-twisted
  18. pair cable.

  21. 1500 feet per network with Artisoft cable, up to 300 feet with AT&T
